Little Shop of Horrors

Performed at The Charles Bailey Theatre in Trail, The Capitol Theatre in Nelson, and The RSS Auditorium in Rossland! Directed by Michael Davis and Produced by Sarah Sordi; this musical tells the tale of Seymour Krelbourn, a hapless orphan with a love of plants and a desperation to rise above his circumstances. Enter Audrey II, a strange and unusual plant, and suddenly he gets the girl - his beautiful and troubled co-worker Audrey - the dad - shop-owner Mr. Mushnik - and the fame! This charmingly weird musical asks the question, what would you be willing to do if it meant getting everything you ever wanted?

Anne of Green Gables

and

Steel Magnolias

From their very first show in 1952, the re-formed RLOP has been bringing amateur theatre to the Kootenays for over 70 years! This show was written and directed by Jamie Santano and produced by Tanya LaFond. It celebrates the figures that have made the RLOP what it is from the early figures of the Baldrys to the lady who got us registered as a non-profit and access to Gilbert and Sullivan shows Babs Bourchier to the man who bought us the building we call home Charles Bailey. Interspersed with songs from our best-known shows, this show-within-a-show celebrates all we’ve accomplished so far!

Our last show before our pandemic-forced-pause, RENT was directed by Kevin Wasilenkoff and Natalie Wasilenkoff and produced by Tanya LaFond.
